The Schnoodle is a cross between two century old dog breeds, the Poodle and the Schnauzer. The desire for a hypoallergenic and low shedding dog, led to the development of the Schnoodle. This cross normally comes in three sizes: toy (10 inches or less and which is usually the result of a Toy Poodle/Miniature Schnauzer cross), miniature (10 to 15 inches and which is the result of a Miniature Poodle/Miniature Schnauzer cross) and standard (15 inches and up and which usually is the result of a Standard Poodle/Standard Schnauzer cross). This intelligent companion has a temperament that reflects the best of both breeding parents: playful, happy, affectionate and eager to please. The Schnoodles coat, like the breed parents doesn’t shed and is relatively dander free. The texture ranges from slightly course to silky soft with colors that range from dark solids to blends of the breed parents, with the possibility of changing over the course of the dog’s life. One draw back of the Schnoodle,
however, is that they often vocalize with a sharp piercing bark common to the Schnauzer breed. With patience and training, your Schnoodle will learn the appropriate times for such barking.

Yorkipoo
A Yorkipoo is a mixed breed between a Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie) and a Toy Poodle. What you get is a great hypoallergenic and low dander toy dog which is good for allergy sufferers. This hybrid combines the wonderful traits of both breeds, so you can expect a determined, loyal, cheerful and trainable dog. These intelligent dogs will keep you on your toes with their spunk and energy, but will win your heart with their expressive eyes and love of your lap. These small dogs weigh in at about 6 to 12 pounds and require minimal grooming with hair that is short and straight. This great family dog is playful, yet calm and gets along fairly well with children. Like its founding breeds, the Yorkipoo makes an excellent companion and watchdog.
